    Trial pits on Arab League Road towards Duhail R/A RHS & LHS
    Completed, Arab League Road coming from Dahal Hammam Junction
    only RHS Completed, Rest All STILL PENDING.
    Incomplete/Unacceptable implementation of approved TDP
    protection for two existing water lines (200 mm & 600 mm dia) IN
    PROGRESS RHS 1+480 to 1+600 & RHS 1+610 to 1+720 respectively
    Protection for existing EHV cable IN PROGRESS, Protection Slab
    laid from 1+500 to 1+620 LHS (120 m appox.) on Arab League Road
    Protection of existing EHV cables 1+500 to 1+760 RHS IN
    PROGRESS (only excavation so far) on Arab League Road
    Removal of Interlocking Tiles & Kerbstones at Three locations
    (Arab League Road coming from Dahal Hammam Junction RHS & LHS
    1+100 to 1+350, and in Jeliah R/A) IN PROGRESS
    removal of grass and sweet soil from Jeliah R/A IN PROGRESS
    started after our meeting with gardens department in Ashghal on June 30
    Excavation for Trench Soakaways at Arab League Road coming from
    Dahal Hammam Junction IN PROGRESS at two locations from 1+100 to
    1+240 RHS & 1+400 to 1+850 RHS
    Excavation of Soakaway Pits at Two Locations at 1+240 RHS &
    1+400 RHS on Arab League Road coming from Dahal Hammam Junction,
    Foundations Installed at Two locations and Rings Installed on One
    location IN PROGRESS

    MAJOR DELAY RELATED ISSUE


    Initial design was to do a full construction, but later PWA asked to do part fullconstruction and part milling and re-surfacing only, due to this, the new design
    levels are under design and are yet to be issued.

    CONCLUSION
    In lieu of above, and based on our experience with the Contractor, our
    observation is that, even if the Contractor is available with all the
    documentations, designs, & drawings, the Contractor is still not capable
    enough to execute professionally and complete the project within its stipulated

    timeframe, due to lack of experienced and responsible staff most importantly


    the management staff.
