Taylor Brown was a ton, scoring a ca-

reer-high 27 points, 20 in the second
half. But Will Egolf fouled out in five
minutes and Sam Singh, who battled
Creighton’s big guys, managed just
one rebound in 24 minutes.
Backcourt: D
Not much offense from the guards.
Andrew Warren, Chris Roberts, Sam
Maniscalco and Dyricus Simms-Ed-
wards were a combined 6-for-28 from
the field. Not much defense either as
Creighton’s guards combined for 43
points. Turnovers were low, though, as
that quartet combined for just 7.
Bench: A
Brown did his damage off the bench,
as did Jake Eastman, who scored a
career-high 13 points. Singh had 4
points and 2 steals.
Overall: C-
The Braves made just 1 of their first
10 shots and then got into gear. Re-
bounding was good (a 32-30 Creigh-
ton edge), as was ballhandling (10
turnovers). But the defense had too
many breakdowns as Creighton sank
9 3-pointers and shot 51 percent.
