Frontcourt: B+

A terrific game from Will Egolf (career

highs of 15 points and 11 rebounds)
on his 21st birthday. Taylor Brown
battled foul trouble and had a subpar
game (5 points, 4 rebounds).
Backcourt: A-
Shots weren’t falling (Chris Roberts
and Andrew Warren combined to
shoot 3-for-18 for 6 total points),
but Sam Maniscalco (21 points) and
Dyricus Simms-Edwards (8 points)
rode to the rescue offensively. The
defense, though, was sublime, espe-
cially on Saluki catalyst Kevin Dillard,
who was 1-for-9 with 3 turnovers.
Bench: B+
Really good toughness minutes from
Simms-Edwards, Eddren McCain, Jake
Eastman and Sam Singh.
Overall: B+
The Braves were perfect in snagging
a 15-0 lead and then held on with
good hustle, excellent ballhandling
and solid defense. SIU almost pulled
it out with some good defense of its
own and 17 second-chance points,
but couldn’t finish.
