    Frontcourt: A

    Big rebounding nights for Sam Singh


    (9) and Taylor Brown (8) and a
    clutch rebounding night for Will Egolf,
    who converted all 4 of his offensive
    boards into baskets. Egolf’s last two
    were game-winners for the Braves.
    Backcourt: B
    Sam Maniscalco had a great game
    (21 points, 6 assists), and the guards
    defended the perimeter well (Drake
    hit just 5 of 26 3-pointers). But
    Drake’s guards, especially Josh Young
    (19 points) and Ryan Wedel (15
    points) scored too easily off the drive.
    Bench: B+
    Singh’s rebounds and interior defense
    were big, as was the play of Dyri-
    cus Simms-Edwards (7 points, 3
    rebounds, 2 steals).
    Overall: B+
    BU played much better offensively
    in the first half with ball movement
    and patience, rebounded well overall
    (39-29 edge) and finished the game.
    Free-throw shooting (10-for-16) was
    spotty, and second-half turnovers
    (nine) were too high and led to 10
    Drake points.
