Mrs. Maloneys 2nd Grade News
We are always very hard at work in room
67! We have presented out All About Me
Posters and made our buckaroos. We have
learned a lot about each other and our
families! In science, we have begun discussing
seasons and how that affects the apple trees.
We will begin experiments with apples using
the scientific method as we prepare for our
field trip to Gilcrease Orchard on September
25th Johnny Appleseeds birthday. This month,
we are working on personal narratives and
correct paragraph form using thinking maps,
the writing process, and Lucy Culkins. We will
be discussing our communities, things in our
communities, and how we can contribute to
them. We will continue to work with addition,
subtraction, and problem solving. Above all,
we are always making learning fun!
