Define:
A.) Powerpoint
- A software package designed to create electronic presentations consisting of a series
of separate pages or slides.
B.) Presentation
- Software used to create a sequence of text and graphics, and often audio and video,
to accompany a speech or public presentation.
C.) Slide
- A slide is a single page of a presentation created with software such as PowerPoint or
Open Office Impress. A presentation is composed of several slides The best
presentations use approximately ten to twelves slides to get the message across.
D.) Slide Pane
-Show or hide the Outline or Slides tab. Whether you are editing slides in the Slide
pane, working with slide thumbnails on the Slides tab, or creating an outline for your
presentation on the Outline tab, you can easily maximize your working space.
E.) Animation
- n PowerPoint, Open Office Impress and other presentation software, animations are
visual effects applied to individual items on the slide such as graphics, titles or bullet
points. Animations are different than transitions, which are the movements of the whole
slide.
F.) Hyperlink
- A hyperlink, or as it is more commonly called, a link, allows the viewer to quickly
access another screen on the computer by simply clicking on a text entry or a graphic
object.
