Class Length: 59 Minutes

Course Description:
To develop a comprehensive program of strength and conditioning (lifting, flexibility,
agility and running) to assist individuals in becoming physically fit in both strength and
cardiovascular levels.

Course Requirements/Objectives:
The students will...
1. Complete a daily warm up and stretch.
2. Actively participate in all class activities.
3. Listen attentively to class lectures.
4. Change daily into appropriate gym clothes. (gym shorts, t-shirt and tennis shoes)
5. Bring their agenda with them daily.
6. Participate in cooperative learning activities.
7. Complete homework assignments in a timely manner.
8. Complete a daily workout journal.

Texts/Resources:
Students will use their own resources to research assigned topics.

Required Materials:
Gym clothes and a notebook (shorts, shirt, sweat pants, tennis shoes)

30% dress, and daily workout
70% journal, and tests
The final exam will count 10% of your final grade

Be on time and change daily.


Complete all class work, homework, reports and tests to the best of your ability.
Keep track of all of your graded assignments.
Study class material frequently.
When absent make up your missed work.
Follow school and class room rules.
Respect others and their property at all times.
Practice good character traits. They will take you far in life.
Record your weight room workout in your journal daily.
