LABORATORY ASSIGNMENTS
The evaluation of lab-assignments will comprise allocation of marks for practical demonstrations,
results presentation, validation of simulation results and lab-report presentation. Reports must be
submitted on specified dates and times to qualify for evaluation or assessment.
A maximum of 5 lab assignments will be done, the first two which have already been issued to
students.
Pre-lab Assignments
The objective of the pre-lab is to enable the student to prepare for the laboratory session. This may
involve a tutorial to introduce the students to the simulation tools that will be required for simulation
based laboratories.
Students will not be allowed to do the practical demonstration if their pre-labs are not completed. The
pre-lab should be concluded in an A4 typed sheet(s) no loose sheets or photocopies are acceptable.
Pre-labs must be done outside normal class time.
Lab Reports
Students should submit individual Lab Reports in the prescribed format.
Lab reports are due the week following the performance of the experiment. Lab reports
