Classroom News

Students will be bringing home their

math quizzes that were taken last
week for a parent signature. I did
allow for students to do corrections
and we will be having a retake on
Wednesday. If students are still
having trouble with multiplication
facts I have put a link to flash cards
on my website for them to review
at home. We will be beginning
division this week and it is
important that they have these facts
down. We will also be looking at
the scientific method this week in
order to prepare for the science fair.
Student will be choosing project
ideas to be done at home. More
information regarding the science
projects will be sent home Friday!

Chapter #6- Review and correct quiz
Chapter #3- Take Pre-Test and begin
learning about division
Reading:
Book Clubs: Students will meet with their
book club two times a week to discuss
the book they are reading and work on
comprehension skills.
Read Aloud: We will continue reading
Bring The Boy Home.
Unit of Study:
Where We Are In Place And Time: We
will be finishing our exploration of caves
and begin preparing for the science fair,
by reviewing the scientific method.
Central Idea: Exploration invites
discovery and change.
