7.1
Utilize conceptual frameworks to guide the processes of
assessment, intervention, and evaluation.
When a new client comes into the office it is always important to
try and access background information to help guide the first
initial assessment.
In school social work we often have some background
information on file as well as those who have referred the families
to the school social worker know information that can help excel
the assessment, intervention, and an evaluation.

PRACTICE BEHAVIOR

Critique and apply knowledge to understand person and
environment.
In the field of social work it is important to consider the
environment and the family you are meeting with. It is also important
to be familiar with the families cultural background .
In school social work we reach out to many different families to try
and provide support for their children that are in our schools. This
includes knowing and being empathetic to their living situations and
religious affiliations.
