The Effect Of Using Computer-Assisted Language Learning (Call)
On The Reading Comprehension Of Expository Texts For The
Iranian University Female Senior.
Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) is a program to make teaching activity
more effective. CALL significant use began in 1960s.
Development of CALL software has followed the increase of teaching methodologies.
Compare with the traditional teaching method that use audio lingual and communicative
approaches, CALL is more interactive programs. This program can make students ready for the
improve of technology in a future. Interaction with the computer can also help the students when
they were bored.
According to the research in ISLAMIC AZAD UNIVERSITY, that Computer Assisted
Language Learning is more motivation and better than traditional class. But half of the students
is not too comfortable about Computer.

COMMENT
Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) is a better program than the traditional
method of teaching. We can use a technology which make learning activity easier.
The reason why half of students is not too comfortable of CALL because they feel more
comfort with traditional apoach. According to them, they more understand the material if use
traditional methods. The other side, Some of them is not have computer, like what was happened
in my environment. So, they hard to opperate that program.
