CVE 656 Make-up Assignment

Write a VB program to compute the moment of inertia of the I-beam section, the beam
deflection and slope at specified point X from the left end with the interface shown below.

Fig. 1: Application is for solving the elastic deflection and slope of an I- beam.
The inputs to the program are the cross-section dimensions, b,d tf, tw and properties of the Isection, E and the beam loadings, w , P and lengths, L1, L2.
Draw the shape of the elastic curve of the beam.
