Strengthened regulation and enforcement of policies
DENRs implementation in pursuant to Executive Orders
High ranking of the Philippines in the Environmental
Performance Index (EPI) of the World
The Social Weather Stations (SWS) recently conducted a
survey showing that Filipinos believe that the Aquino
administration is doing a good job of protecting the countrys
environment.
Effective partnership between the Department and the Local

Weak information, education, and communication capacities,
Lack of involvement and participation of stakeholder.
Inappropriate, overlapping, conflicting and obsolete policies and
institutions,

with the different stakeholders involved.
