Test Conditions: Showery but calm

What a great location and the lake was wonderful, only downer was the midges.
There were two entries for Section E, but unfortunately one entry withdrew.
The other entry were a very experienced team, who i have judged on many
occasions and under normal circumstances would have bet would pass or at least
get near to passing a Section E.
Unfortunately just before starting the test, in the distance we heard shotgun fire
from an obvious Clay Pigeon Shoot, which totally put the dog off its concentration,
to the extent that the handler, decided to withdraw the dog after the first element.
So no passes, but the views were worth it.
Thanks to my co-judge, stewards and Test Manager and the couple who baked
enough cakes to feed the whole of the Newfoundland organisation.
