Adding Students to Already Provisioned

Nexus 7 Tablets
These directions should be used to add new students to a Nexus 7
tablet AFTER the end of the 14-15 school year procedures have been
completed.
1. Fully charge the Nexus 7 tablet
2. Power the tablet on by pressing the power button on the top right side
3. You should see a circle that represents the owner of the tablet. It may be called
Google, ___.tech@mail.fcboe.org or something comparable to this.
4. Touch this circle and slide the lock button
5. You will be prompted for a password.
6. The password is 30214
7. Once the device is logged in, touch the circle that has six dots in it at the bottom
of the home screen
8. Open your device's Settings menu

9. Under "Device", touch Users.
10. Press the + button to add a new user
11. Click ok to confirm that you want to add a new user
12. If you have other students to set up, click Not now
13. Repeat steps 10-12 as many times as necessary
14. Click the power button one time
15. Click the power button again
16. You should now be on the main login screen with multiple circles
17. Touch one of the circles and slide the lock
18. A welcome screen will appear
19. Press the next button
20. Enter the students FCBOE Gmail address
21. Enter the students FCBOE Gmail password
22. Accept the agreement
23. The student account should now be setup to receive app content from Google
Play for EDU. NOTE: PLEASE ALLOW AT LEAST 24 HOURS FOR APPS TO APPEAR
24. Login to Google Play for EDU and send an app out to each of your students.
Sending of this initial app triggers syncing with Google Play for EDU.
25. Please leave the tablet in the on position so that the tablet can sync with the
Google servers.
