Agendas were issued at the beginning of the year and students are expected to bring to class every day.
Students are to write down their homework assignments in the agenda as part of our class daily routines.
Please check with your cadet to verify that they received their agendas as this is also another form of
communication that we will utilize to keep you update as to what is going on in our class.

Please remind your child to do their homework for each class. Homework is an extension of what
we learned in class that day. It allows student to practice and to prepare for assessments. It is a
vital part of the learning environment and should be taken seriously.

American History Founding Principles, Civics and Economics


This we began our study of the three branches of government. We are learning about
the Legislative and Executive branches and how they interact. Please encourage your
student to read nightly for at least 20 minutes and to also review their notes nightly in
all subject areas.

APUSH
This week we began our study of how the colonist began to establish their own
traditions and how they continued to process of breaking away from Great Britain.
Please encourage your student to continue reading nightly and to complete all
assignments for this course.

Middle East History

This week continued to make plans for our International Festival which is scheduled for
Saturday, November 21, 2015 from 10:00AM 1:00 PM the students presented
PowerPoints on their countries. We also continued working on our skit for the
International Festival.
