Activities
For 2 years, I volunteered at Ready, Set, Ride. I helped children with disabilities learn how to
ride horses and socialize with other children their age. This experience helped me learn more
about disabilities, respect, and responsibility.
I also volunteered at Safety Town for 1 year. I had to teach a small group of kids street safety
and what precautions to take during natural disasters. Along with teaching safety, I had to be
responsible and look after the group of children.
I volunteered at A.D.O.P.T, a pet shelter in Naperville. I cleaned the cat and dog cages and also
gave them a lot of TLC. I learned about different animal behavior and safety precautions.
Employment
I worked at Crate and Barrel, a furniture store, for two years (2010-2012). My responsibilities
and duties involved being on time, showing initiative, and helping fellow co-workers.
During the summer of 2013, I worked for a pet sitting company called Pet Sitting On the Run.
I had to go to homes where I would feed animals and take the dogs for walks. During this job I
dealt with snakes, rabbits, dogs, and cats. This experience taught me a lot about responsibility,
time management, and independence.

During the summer of 2014, I worked at PetSmart where I learned how to interact with
costumers, communicate with fellow co-workers, and take on responsibility.
