Humber College, 275 Alder St 2nd Floor, Orangeville, ON

September 2019 - present

I am currently enrolled in the Early Childhood Education program at

Humber college. While attending this program I will obtain the skills needed
to work in the childcare profession as a reflective educational professional.
Along with completing course work I am also provided the opportunity to
complete three placements allowing me to practice the skills I am learning

frameworks used within it such as ELECT, How Does Learning Happen?, as
well as, the CCEYA.

VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE

Georgetown soccer club summer camp— summer of 2015

My duties at this summer camp was to run activities, supervise kids in the
pool and escort kids to the bathroom in the sports complex across the
parking lot. This summer camp provided me an opportunity to begin to
develop skills such as responsibility, childcare and organization.

Job fair- During the 2015-2016 school year

My responsibility at this job fair was to run the front desk to ensure all
participants in the co-op job fair were at their station at the right time, they
had name tags and were set up to present their station. This furthered my
organizational and leadership skills as I was held responsible and given the
duty of ensuring that the students involved in this fair were ready to present
their work once families and peers were allowed to mingle.
