    2006-2007

    World

    Campaign

    on

    Disaster

    Reduction

    entitled Disaster Risk Reduction Begins at School states that


    various initiatives have been taken worldwide to make school
    buildings

    safer,

    and

    have

    disaster

    risk

    reduction

    taught

    in

    schools (ISDR, 2007).


    The priority of Millennium Development Goal 2 is to ensure
    that schools in high risk areas have developed and implemented
    disaster
    survive

    preparedness
    and

    continue

    and

    contingency

    their

    schooling

    plans

    so

    in

    the

    that

    students

    aftermath

    of

    disasters (ISDR, 2005).

    Based on the aforementioned theories and results of related
    studies, the conceptual framework of this study is formulated,
