List the three types of symbiosis
Compare and contrast between parasitism, commensalism, mutualism

WARMING UP/ LEAD IN / Preview / Review
Students will be asked different questions about their daily life. For example, if your mother give and your sister one cupcake, and your
sister will eat it before you. You will be happy or sad? Why?. The teacher will keep asking questions that both of the organisms will be
happy, one organism is happy and the other is sad.
TEACHER INSTRUCTION AND LEARNING ACTIVITIES:
The teacher will start explaining that in science that there is something called symbiosis and she will define it and demonstrate the three
types of it. Happy and sad faces stickers will be used in order to make the relationship between organisms clear to the students. After
that, students will be asked to list three types of symbiosis with giving examples. They may use their tablets.

EVIDENCE OF LEARNING (ASSESSMENT):


Students will answer the worksheet.

Reflection
I think the concept of the new lesson itself was a little bit difficult for them. Because of the
new and complex words. I could have explaining the new words in spirit and whole class
period. But, totally they understood that organisms have some different types of
relationships and the examples which they were saying reflected that. Unfortunately, for this
lesson particularly I didnt provide an opportunities for all of the students to participate.
Because, I was hugely focusing on how they will understand the lesson instead of asking
them to do most of the work.
