In Social Studies we are continuing to study the Native Americans.

We finished the Plains Indians
and are talking about the Southwest. For each area we are studying their shelters, food, tools, etc.
We are also comparing and contrasting each area based on food,
climate, shelter, and what
they used from their environment.
LANGUAGE ARTS - In
reading we are analyzing
historical fiction, and comparing and contrasting the
two historical fiction novels
we have read, Sign of the Beaver ,and The Black
Pearl. Our classes will record how they are alike and
different using a Venn Diagram. Weve also been
looking at recognizing and fixing sentence fragments
and run-on sentences.
