Interview questions

1- What motivated you to become a kindergarten teacher?


I love teaching specifically teaching the children, I like working with
young learners to build their first basic language use as well
learning through fun and games.
2- Where did you get your education?
I get my education in HCT, and I have been teaching for 12
years.
3- What will you do if a lesson doesnt work well?
I will evaluate the lesson plan, use another activities, model the
tasks with the students, find out alternative activities, and change
the procedure of the lesson.
4- How do you handle a student who has trouble staying on
task?
Use sad face puppet to control him, ask him to be the group leader
using to his energy, encourage him to sit and do the activity, and
phrase the student sticker/star.
5- Tell me some of your classroom management rules?
I develop classroom rules that suits kindergarten students, in
beginning of the year I discuss the rules with the students, stick it
on a board and remind them every day or whenever we need it. I
use the happy and sad face puppet and total physical response
activities.
6- How do you motivate your students to become active
learners in your classroom?
I motivate my students through a variety of activities Im
implementing with them in the classroom such as, pair work
activities, class activity and independent and group work activities.
Encourage them to join, share and speak in the classroom about
their needs. I give them the chance to express themselves. Moving
from one activity to another and arrange suitable sequence of
activities for them. They also can take the rule of begin a teacher
through the warning up-stage which motivate them a lot.
7- How would you integrate technology into the curriculum you
would teach?
Through using or downloading videos form you-tube, PowerPoint,
presentation, electronic activities and the use of tablets.

8- How would you challenge the slow learners and the


advanced learners within the same class?
This will be taking into consideration while planning for the lesson
and implementing the activities, preparing activities that suits the
advance learners as well as the slow learners.
9- How is your relationship with children?
I always show them my love and respect, and ask about their needs and ask about
how they feel about the class.

10What kind of teachers would you prefer to work with?


I would like to work with a teacher who motivates me to be an
active teacher rather than the one who discourages me. And
teacher help me in planning, discussing ideas and sharing
knowledge.
11What role have parents have parents played in your
classroom?
Parents are invited through meetings regularly, early at the
beginning of the year, 2nd semester and 3rd semester, they are
willing to help through the home activity.
12What are some of your top responsibilities?
Teaching five classes which means 105 students. Prepper students
portfolio and homework booklet and spelling book, taking photos of
the school activities. Im a member of a group (High achievers and
talented), morning duty, arranging students competition (reading
writing), and arranging school activities.
