Storycorp Interview
Explain your artifact final product and ALL the steps you took to create it.
My final product was an interview with my mother where I asked her several personal
questions. To create it, I downloaded the Storycorps app and prepared an interview by
reviewing questions.

What is the most important thing you learned during this process?

The most important thing I learned during this process is the different things about my
mom that I would have never thought to ask before this assignment. For example I
learned how she would want to be remembered and some of her favorite memories of
me as a child.

Explain the significance of your artifact and how it connects to the narrative.

My artifact connects to my narrative because my narrative is a reflection of who I am and

where I came from and in my interview my mom talks about how I was raised. It was
very significant because I learned more about my mom and I learned about the things
she wishes for me and my children when I am older.

What do you wish you had spent more time on or done differently?
I wish I had started the project sooner that way I would have had more time to prepare
the interview and the questions. I also wish I had prepared more questions to ask.

What did you find most challenging during this task?

The most challenging part was deciding which questions to ask and meeting the
minimum time limit with the few questions I had.
