Artifact Reflection - Senior Capstone Project

Name of Journey: Storycorp Interview

Explain your artifact final product and ALL the steps you took to create it.
I downloaded the storycorp app and arranged my questions beforehand. Then I sat down with my
mother and interviewed her. Our Interview was about 15 minutes long.

What is the most important thing you learned during this process?
I learned that you need a completely quiet space to conduct an interview. My dogs kept barking
in the background and it made our interview sound terrible.

Explain the significance of your artifact and how it connects to the narrative.
This interview was significant because it shared some insight on why my parents did the things
they did when I was growing up. Most of my child, I didnt know the reasons behind a lot of my
parents choices but as I am getting older and asking questions like I did in the interview, I am
learning some of their reasons.

What do you wish you had spent more time on or done dierently?
I wish we had done the interview in a quiet place so it would sound better.

What did you find most challenging during this task?

It was challenging to ask my mom those questions because we dont usually talk about personal
stu. We just dont have that kind of close relationship so it was kind of awkward at some points
during the interview.
