PERSONAL INSIGHT / REALIZATION

Time flies so fast . For almost 5 five months being enrolled for this
subject NSTP 2CO1 for the 2nd semester S.Y 2014-2015 , I have learned a lot of
things , I met new teacher, friends and classmates. By the end of this
semester let me recall these activities we had done.

First was the estero clean up drive , caring for our environment is very
important to make our surroundings clean and it is just a way of saying thank
you to God for His creation. We should not throw our garbage any ware
specially in the estero . Second was the discussion about faith in our almighty
Father , I also learned that faith is useless without work or making a move,
and God the Father use other people as an instrument for us to help our
problems and we should respect lives. And It should be God the Father is the
center of my life and I must obey Him .Third was the feeding program and we
went to Calabayan , Ozamiz City , specifically at Happy Haven of Mercy
(HAPPY CHURCH MINISTRY FOR THE ELDERLY) . We brought foods,
prices, and balloons . We also prepared games and presentations for them to
be entertained. As I went inside, I saw old women, men and children as well. I
felt glad because I saw in their faces that they were happy at that time. As a
photographer I really enjoy taking photos, with the smiles and laughers in
their faces. I really thank God for giving me a family and Im very fortunate
enough for what I have unlike those children who are being abandoned by
their parents , maybe they have reasons but otherwise it is wrong to escape
from their responsibilities. After we cleaned up those little things that
scattered , we went home . And I as arrived home , I felt the essence of
happiness because even for little bit time I served and made them happy.
Fourth was the mangrove tree planting at Maningcol, Ozamiz City. I picked
up bakhaw for the tree planting. And I really enjoy planting it in the middle
of low tide sea together with my classmates and my teacher .

I hate saying good bye because I already enjoy and love what we are
doing in this subject. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude with all my
respect to my NSTP teacher Mr. Joel V. Cocolan for he never gets tired of
sharing his knowledge to me and also to my classmates. I will treasure all
those memories I had in this subject . It is very enjoyable and unforgettable.
