Boys Football By-Laws

A Contest days league football matches will be on a Thursday (Freshmen and JV)
and Friday (Varsity) schedule.
B Start time Start times will be at 4:00pm for Freshmen and 6:30pm for JV on
Thursdays. Varsity games will begin at 7:00pm on Fridays at the opposite site.
C Teams will play a single round-robin There are 10 schools which field football
programs which will result in a 9 game league schedule.
D Rotation of games Every year the home team will change.
E Uniforms teams are to wear dark color(s) at home and light color(s) away at all
levels.
F Special League Rules On Special occasions, the fifteen (15) minute halftime at
Varsity games can be extended by the host school. The athletic director of the opposing
school shall be notified at least 24 hours in advance whenever the twenty (20) minute
half will be used.
1. The team with the best won-lost percentage against league schools will be
deemed champion. If two or more teams have the same record, than all teams
with the same winning percentage will be named co-champions.
2. Varsity game fields will be available for warm-up at least one hour before the
scheduled start of the game.
3. Varsity pre-game clock protocol will be as follows:
1. Teams must be off the field ten (10) minutes prior to game time.
2. Teams must be on the field when pre-game clock hits zero.
4. Teams will exchange the previous two (2) weeks game film no later than Saturday
by 2:00pm prior to the next weeks contest. Coaches will set a mutually agreed
upon time. If no place can be agreed upon, than the exchange will occur at the
host school. Preferred media will be DVD or VHS.
5. If a team does not exchange film, then said team will forfeit one All-League
selection.
G All-League Selections will be made at the Varsity level only. There will be
twenty-eight (28) selections for All-League that will be determined by the order that the
team finished in the league:
1st Place 6 5th Place 3 8th Place 1 2nd Place 5 6th Place 2 9th Place 1 3rd Place
4 7th Place 2 10th Place 1
4th Place - 3
Players will be nominated by the Head Coach regardless of the positions they play. In

case of ties, there will be a supplemental player named to the All-League team.
