-Everything that happened seems to be coming
back
-beginning -> undisturbed normality
-whole play happens in less than 24 hours
-night before -> storm, tree was blown
-Father destroys son and son destroys father
-Act 1 (bright), Act 2 (twilight-mood darkens), Act
3 (2am-drained)
-7 room family home ($15,000 in 1920)
-An unveiling of what I believed everybody know
but nobody publicly said
-Play about repression - They all construct fictions
that enable them to justify themselves in their own
eyes, as much as in the eyes of others
