Description of artifact and how the artifact meets the standard:
The artifact shown is a students letter assessment from the fall to their newest letter assessment for the
winter. The artifact shows whether or not the student has made growth since the fall, and if further
interventions or one-on-one work needs to be done for letter and sound recognition.

Reflection on artifact (what went right, what went wrong, how to make better)

I believe this is a good example of showing data of what a student knows and it clearly shows
what letters and letters sounds need to be worked on. The only thing that went wrong with this is
that not all of the letters have been directly taught yet; a better representation of letter-sound
knowledge would best be shown in April or May.
