Language Arts: We are working on

genres. What is the difference between
fiction and non-fiction? Also, adding
mini-lessons to the CAF menu (passed
out at conferences). These are strategies
that good readers use to read and
comprehend.

Math: We are working on Unit 3. Unit 3 will

cover measuring, perimeter and area. We are

continuing to work on addition /subtraction
facts as needed. Everyone has an extra
challenge pack to work on when they finish
their work. When your child turns this in
they will earn a no math homework coupon
to use whenever they wish.

Please go over your childs

homework and have them
correct any errors. This will
help to reinforce concepts
that we learned in class.
