Hooray for PK!

We cant wait until Tuesday to share our When I Get a Feeling program with you! The children have worked very hard to learn all about their different feelings. We will begin at 10:30 in the Library and then gather back in the classroom for a fun Thanksgiving celebration! Thank you to all the moms who have helped coordinate for the party. The children have made the centerpieces and the delicious pumpkin muffins! As we close the month of November we begin our December unit: My Family and Friends. We love our friends! We are creating a class book that will be available for each child to check out for a night to read at home with you! The pages will be filled with each childs thoughts and drawings dealing with friendship. We will focus on families after the break. Please send pictures cut!!!) of each family member (that we will cut!!!) for a very special project by Monday, 11/28. Our class Christmas service project is to help the Ronald McDonald House collect items that the families who stay there need. A list of their requested items will be coming home soon in your childs folder! Please let your child go with you to pick out something from the list to give to the children who stay at the Ronald McDonald House while undergoing treatment at St. Jude. Mrs. Jabbour and I will deliver the gifts. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and for helping the children develop a giving spirit!
Challenge: Newsletter Challenge Color the turkey in your folder.
