Mrs. Crofts’ Classroom Newsletter
It’s the 16th Week of School!
Our Christmas party will be held Friday,
December 17, from approximately 10:30 –
11:45 AM. Please let me know if you have
any children’s game ideas that you’d like to
help organize. Parents are welcome to
attend.
 Gift Exchange: Each student that wants to
participate in the gift exchange should bring in
a gift. Please note who the gift is from. On
the day of the party each child that brought a
gift will choose a gift that someone else
brought. Boys will select a gift from a boy and
girls will select a gift from a girl. Please do
not exceed $10 per gift. Gifts may be
brought in anytime between now and the
Christmas party.
 Food: Please see the sign up sheet on the
classroom door to indicate if you are willing to
provide food for the party.
The Christmas Program is
children’s
Saturday, December 18. There will be a
Christmas service practice held that
morning from 9-10:30 AM. This allows the
Sunday school children to practice with the
elementary school children. It’s also a great
opportunity for you to get away and do a little
Christmas shopping without the kids! 
On the evening of the Christmas service the children
are asked to be here by 5:10 PM. We also ask that
you child dress nicely. Please avoid jeans if possible.
If you have not had the opportunity to sign and return
your child’s progress report envelope please do so
by Wednesday, December 15.

Zoo-Phonics News
Since we will use some large amounts of time for
Christmas service practice this week, we will utilize
this as a review week for Zoo-phonics.
Also going home today is a flyer from our Zoo-
phonics friends offering a new item—the Essentials
Zoo-phonics At-Home Program!
Other Classroom News
Our Bible lessons will cover the First Christmas and
the Angels Appearing to the Shepherds. What joyful
lessons we have this week!
In math we will continue to work with shapes,
numbers and introduce money.
If you normally discard your Christmas cards
after the season is over, would you consider giving
the covers of them to me? I re-use them for
projects like the lift-the-flap book that we are
working on this week. Thanks!
We wish a very happy birthday to Jameson
(12/14) and Nolan (12/29) who will each be
turning five this month!!
