Can A Thon Drive: Bring in $2 or two cans of

Students will be taking home a paper leaf from Ocees Giving Tree.
Each leaf has a donation item printed on it. It will be taped in your
childs agenda for you to see. If possible, please consider donating
the item/items to Ocees families. The children will be replacing the
leaves they take with a handwritten leaf of what they are thankful for.
Take a look at the Giving Tree wall the next time you pass by the
office.

Science/Social Studies: We will begin learning


about Thomas Jefferson and his contributions to our country.
We will also be learning about Thanksgiving to prepare for our
Thanksgiving Feast at school and the upcoming Thanksgiving
holiday.

November 17th- Oscar Otter Sent Home


Have your child color and cut out the paper
Otter. Use the hashtag #Flatoscarottergoeshome to
document his Thanksgiving break journey on Twitter!
November 18th- Field Trip Forms Due & Australia Day
We will learn about the country of Australia as we take an
imaginary field trip to The Land Down Under!

Wish list Items: Thank you so much for the Graham Crackers, Goldfish, bowls, and cups that have been
donated. The kids and I really appreciate it! These come in handy when someone forgets a snack at
home and for craft projects.
