WRITING AN ODE

Some guidelines :

Pick an ordinary place, thing or idea that you really LOVE

Give your subject praise or thanks. (Oh, cheesecake, you.. !)

You can speak directly to your subject if you want to.

Use powerful adjectives to describe it; find the most expressive words you can.

Use verbs to bring that object to life.

*Exaggerate its human qualities! *Personification


Criteria:
Powerfully expresses your love or admiration
of the subject and tells the reader exactly
WHY you feel this way
Is at least 10 lines long
Touches on at least 2 senses
(sight, sound, taste, smell, touch)
Cleverly uses personification
