Dear Sir/Madam,
Re: REQUEST FOR CLARIFICATION ON THE LOSS AND EXPENSE CLAIM ISSUED

We received an expense claim on 2/10/16 in accordance with the work performed on site.
We request you to have the claimed expenses fully explained. As at present, we still believe that the
work was performed within the conditions of the present contract. Much of evidence pertaining to the
claim has not been included i.e. receipt showing the material fluctuation, bonus paid to operatives, event
leading to losses, date of occurrence, cause of event/responsible party.
A detailed written report for the work as prepared as ordered is thus requested from you. If the
information proves unaccounted for multiple impact changes then the claimed additional costs as a result
of said work, will be reimbursed as stated in our contract.
If clarification is not received by 2/22/16 we will henceforth dismiss the claim.
