Question 7 Is the novel based upon the workings of the heart (meant to affect you emotionally) or
of the mind (meant to make you think)? Explain why using at least three (3) example from the
novel.
This novel is meant to make you think, and it is a novel that makes you see the things in a different
way. Its a novel that makes you see the conflict in the Middle East like something that can be easy
to analyze and understand. For example, in chapter five, the author give us a lot of examples of how
Iran could defeat the U.S. in the case that the U.S. decide to invade Iran. The author tell us how did
Iran get their weapons buying them to countries like China and Russia. Also in the epilogue he tell
us the three viable options that the U.S. have to resolve their problems in the Middle East and with
Iran.
