Under Smart City Mission following
activities were undertaken by Municipal
Corporation Dharamshala:

December- FY-2015-16

Municipal Corporation Dharamshala

submitted Smart City Proposal to
MoUD.

Organised a March on Smart City

Dharamshala in which approximately
100 people participated
Organised a radio show on Smart City
Dharamshala. The Executive Offcer
Dharamshala
participated
and
sensitized the citizens about Smart City
Dharamshala
Municipal Corporation Dharamshala
uploaded the Draft Proposal on
Mygov.in and MC Web portal for
ssuggestions

NATIONAL URBAN
LIVELIHOOD MISSION

Citizens in Marathon for Smart City Dharamshala

Assessment of 19 students was done

who completed training in Retail sector

Two batches got completed, one in
Beauty & Wellness and another in
Tourism & Hospitality

A batch with 20 students started in
Retail sector.

11 new Self Help Groups formed in
Dharamshala

2 new Area Level Federations
formed with 18 SHGs.

NULM
orientation
workshop
organized for newly formed Self
Help Groups.

Campus placement organised for
trained student. Employers such as
KFC, Mystic wood and Pong View
participated in placement.

In the month of December, following
activities were done under Swachh
Bharat
Mission

Municipal
Corporation Dharamshala :

Vidayalya Campaign. Under this
campaign

cleanliness drive in following
schools 1) GSSS, Boys
Dharamshala,

Dharamshala, GMS, Gamru,
Happy Hour School Gurudwara
Road.
Organized cleanliness drives in
Kacheri, War Memorial and near
Govt. College, Dharamshala
Individual household survey was
conducted by NYK volunteers for
open defecation
