29 April 2010— On the 29th of April Karen and I will be taking part in probably one of the most

Week Presenta-
tion We will be talking about the charities and raising awareness of the work they do
in southern Africa to help the vulnerable, ill and orphaned children that live
there. Alsager High School are helping us to raise funds by running a ‘design-a-T-
6 May 2010 - shirt’ competition. The winning design will be worn by the two of us on the trip.
The school have also asked us to present a pennant to the school that we will be

Dogs Carsa Dogs Gig

Stoke on Trent local band, Carsa Dogs will be performing live at The Plough in
19 June 2010— Alsager on the 6th of May at 9 pm. There will be an entrance fee of £5 on the
door, which will go directly to charity. The band will be performing a number of
Tombola Stall at different songs, covering bands from the last 40 years. These include AC/DC,
the Alsager Guns ‘n Roses, The Fratellis, Nickleback, Oasis, Bon Jovi and The Stereophonics
to name but a few.
Carnival
Our thanks go out to The Plough, Carsa Dogs, both of whom are supporting this
event at no charge to us.

We would also like to thank every one of you for supporting us in our challenge
to raise a minimum of £10 000 for UniCef, Sentebale, The Nelson Mandela Chil-
dren’s Fund and Touch Africa and to allow Karen & I to take part in Enduro Af-
rica 2010 this October. Our Thanks also go to all the companies and individuals
on page 2 of this news letter who have already contributed to our cause.
