Is hosting a full day exploration of your personal development from the perspective of spirituality. We are pleased to have the expertise of Anne Kelliher who has offered to facilitate this very special day here in LINC. Places will be on a first come first serve basis and will be limited. Beauty school dropouts?! As part of the F Word we are delighted to have the services of Catolina who will come along to LINC this Thursday evening at 6.30 to advise us on how to make the best of our skin coming into the summer. So all are welcome its FREE! Remember we have an exercise bike and cross trainer in the back room for your use- so make the most of it!

Marriage Equality for the One Family Family Day picnic in The Iveagh Gardens, Dublin 2, from 11am-5pm, Sunday 13 May 2012. OUT4DINNER The next out4dinner takes place on Friday June 1st- please note the start time of 8.00pm (second sitting). Hope to see you there!
Garda Youth Awards We were very proud to nominate the UP youth group for the above awards this year. Although they didnt win an overall prize they were however represented in the City Hall last week and received a certificate of achievement for the work, which they have done. This is a great accomplishment for a group of young people who started from small beginnings and have grown into a vibrant group. Congratulations from all at LINC and again a huge Thank-You to Gillian Barrett our youth worker who encourages the group in so many ways!

"TRUE COLOURS" In aid of Marriage Equality


An Evening of Song & Celebration by Choral ConFusion & Glria (Cork & Dublin's LGBT choirs) WHEN: Saturday, June 9th, 8pm WHERE: St. Finbarre's Cathedral, Dean St, Cork City Tickets are 15 (waged) and 10 (unwaged/student).

Artlink have come up with some amazing ideas for this years parade, the theme of which is Our Future- but we need you! This year we want to really express what a wonderful community we have and wow the city with our talent! Work has started in ARTLINK on our Pride Dragon. The workshop was a great success and in the coming weeks we will start work on new sections of the dragon so the more the merrier- check out the parade facebook page for pics to inspire you There are a number of ways people can participate - we will be calling on people to donate materials such as tubing, cardboard and art materials in the coming weeks. Were delighted to announce the launch of LINCs Positive Health Booklet for Lesbian and Bisexual women. This is part of LINCs two year Target 1000 Health Project. The booklet is available in LINC and will be distributed nationally over the coming weeks. IDAHO DAY: International Day Against Homophobia. The Cork Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community are marking IDAHO with a Eucharist Service in St. Anne's Shandon on Sunday May 13th at 11.00am, which will be given by the Rector, Rev. Brian O'Rourke.

Live Laugh Love This WEEK! The eagerly awaited play by our very own Eilish OCarroll has opened to rave reviws and standing ovations tickets still available on some nights.
