Materials :
adhesive tapes, books, balls or etc.
Procedures :
Place an object into a place and just dont do anything on it. The object will remain at rest. There is no
inertia. Then, try to move the object. The object will move as you use an external force on it. That is
where the inertia start.
Conclusion :
Therefore, I conclude that the inertia will only start to happen when an external force is used in an
object.
SECOND LAW OF MOTION:
Law of Acceleration
Materials :
a toy car
Procedures :
Move the toy car as many force as you can. Did you notice that the toy car moves so fast? Thats
because the toy car has a low mass and you used strong force on it. Resulting an accelerating speed of
the car.
Conclusion :
Therefore, I conclude that acceleration becomes higher when an object has a low mass and a strong
force used on it. The greater the mass of an object, the more force it will take to accelerate the object.
THIRD LAW OF MOTION:
Law of Action and Reaction
Materials :
skateboard
Procedures :
Ride a skateboard. In order to move the skateboard, hit the ground by your foot backwards and the
skateboard will move forward. This action causes an opposite reaction.
Conclusion:
Therefore, I conclude that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Like what happens
on the skateboard.
