STORY EXPLANATION:

Ryan, Bern and Jude are at Berns house counting money made from drug dealing. Berns
character is nervous whilst watching a Lion documentary which can be heard in the
background. Judes character addresses Bern in a sarcastic/derogatory manor to which he
replies similarly and proceeds to stop watching the documentary and join Ryan and Judes
characters counting money. Mid conversation Jude is interrupted by the sound of sirens,
loud banging on the door and sudden red and blue flashing lights which illuminate the
room in place of the moonlight. Berns character runs upstairs and grabs drugs and tries to
flush them he is overcome with emotion and collapses by the bathroom door. Ryan and
Jude escape through the back-door whilst police enter the front door in close pursuit.

SCRIPT:
Priest: Nightmares again?
Ryan: Yeah.
Priest: Same one?
Ryan: Same one.
Priest: Hmm.
*Film Title* (Followed by credits throughout the scene)
(Ryan and Jude are at the table counting money whilst Bern is in the same room watching
the lion documentary which can be heard in the background along with random thunder)
Jude: [Frustratedly] *Exhales**Looks over at Bern* *Kisses Teeth* Yo bro put the game
on bro *Bern hears him but ignores and continues watching* *Jude returns to counting*
Throwing off my count with all this wildlife shit.
Jude: [Surprised] *Looks at Bern then to Ryan then back to Bern* *Shifts body weight away
from table and positioning on chair to address Bern directly* [Condescendingly] Do you not
hear me you prick? *Bern looks at him and back to the TV* *Jude pauses waiting for a
response* [Laughing] *Jude points upstairs whilst speaking to Bern* Oh okay, okay so Ive
gotta go upstairs to your girl to make sure you listen to me since she basically tells you
what
Bern: [Angrily] Ahh shut the fuck up bro, just shut the fuck up! (Jude can be heard
laughing)
Jude: [Jokingly] What you mean? Thats the only way I can get you to listen to me though
you dont listen no more!
Bern: [Jokingly] And where are your girls at bro?

Jude: Ive got girls

Bern: [Laughs] You aint got girls no ones fucking with you like that
Jude: [Sarcastically] Oh so Sophia didnt come by last night?
Bern: [Laughs] Nahhh SophiaSophias a lighty she doesn't rate you bro
Ryan, Bern and Jude: [Laugh Together]
Jude: [Patronisingly] Leave them lions alone and make yourself useful big man, count this
*Tosses wad of cash onto table in front of Bern*
Jude: Why you always watching that shit anyway?
Bern: [Condescendingly] Im learning something! Maybe if you got out more youd learn
something to!
Jude: [Laughs] Thats it, Im telling your girl now! Sarah! Sar *Interrupted by sound of
tyres skidding to a halt, flashing red and blue lights and police siren*
Jude: [Panics] Oh shit!
Bern: [Scared] Fuck!
Bern runs upstairs and grabs bag of cocaine and runs to the bathroom. He tears the bag
open over the toilet and tries to flush it. He realises there is no escape for him as there are
more drugs all over the house and he knows he cant flush them all in time so he gives up
and slides down the door sobbing with his head in his hands. Screen goes black for 2
seconds whilst soundtrack kicks in and slow motion shot of Ryan and Jude escaping
through the back-door unfolds to black screen.
Priest: [Softly] The Romans believed dreams gave insight into events past, present and
futuremaybe this dream is trying to tell you something?
Ryan: [Calmly] Maybe.
Cut to film title.
