Cube
A cube is a 3-dimensional shape.
A cube has 6 equal sides.
A cube has 8 corners.
A cube has 12 edges.

Volume of Cube = a3
note: a = length of edge
Surface Area of Cube = 6a2

Rectangular Prism
A rectangular prism is a 3-dimensional shape.
A rectangular prism has 6 sides.
A rectangular prism has 8 corners.
A rectangular prism has 12 edges.

Volume = Bh or lwh
note: B = base area l = length
w = width h = height
Suface area = 2lh + 2lw + 2wh

Pyramid
A pyramid is a 3-dimensional shape.
This pyramid has 4 sides.
This pyramid has 1 base.
A pyramid has a point

Volume = 1/3Bh
Surface area
= (base area) + 4(area of face)
or
= (base area) + 4(area of triangle)

Cone
A cone is a 3-dimensional shape.
A cone has 1 base.
A cone has a point at the opposite end.
A cone can roll.

Volume = 1/3Bh or 1/3rh


note: r = radius
= pi = 22/7 or 3,14
h = heigth
Surface area = r(r+h)

Cylinder
A cylinder is a 3-dimensional shape.
A cylinder has 2 flat sides.
A cylinder can roll on its side.
Volume = Bh or (r)h
r = radius

h = heigth
Surface area = 2 r(r+h)

Sphere
A sphere is a 3-dimensional shape.
A sphere doesnt have any sides or corners.
A sphere can roll.

Volume = 4/3 r3
note: r = radius
= pi = 22/7 or 3,14
Surface area = 4 r2
