THERMOCOUPLE
A Thermocouple is a sensor used to
measure temperature.
Thermocouples consist of two wire
legs made from different metals. The
wires legs are welded together at
one end, creating a junction. This
junction is where the temperature is
measured. When the junction
experiences a change in
temperature, a voltage is created.

RTD
Resistance Temperature Detectors
(RTDs) are temperature sensors that
contain a resistor that changes
resistance value as its temperature
changes. They have been used for
many years to measure temperature
in laboratory and industrial
processes, and have developed a
reputation for accuracy,
repeatability, and stability.

OPERATION OF RTD
An RTD can be connected in a two,
three, or four-wire configuration.
