Dear Mrs. Cook,
I am inquiring about a summer internship at Activekidz. I heard
about this opportunity through researching your agency online. I am
planning to pursue masters in Occupational Therapy after receiving an
undergrad degree and found that Activekidz is the exact type of work
place I want to work in. I am great with working with children and
eager to learn more about occupational therapy.
I have volunteered with the Extra Special People swim team working
with those of all ages with special needs. Along with this, I have worked
a great deal with children through babysitting for multiple families as
well as currently working at McPhaul Child Development Lab with
children from ages eight weeks to five years old. I am highly motivated
and extremely interested in learning about Occupational Therapy.
I am currently completing a Bachelors Degree of Science in Family and
Consumer Sciences at the University of Georgia. Through this I have
learned about the lifespan and development from birth to elder years. I
work well with completing tasks in a timely manner and am easy to get
along with while working with groups of people.
