Dear Employer,

My name is Taylor Jewel Terrell Wedlow. I am 17 years old and I attend Lake

Shore High School located in St.Clair Shores, Michigan. Im currently in the 12th grade

and plan on going to Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti Michigan. I want to major

in pediatric nursing .lm in the medical program at my school, i have been in the program

for 2 years now.

I'm a very good leader, and know how to take instruction. I have a 2.8 GPA; I try

my hardest in school and show the best effort in my school work. Ive had two jobs while

being in high school. I've worked at two different Salvation Army. One located in St.clair

Shores, the other located in Clinton Twp. With a job and school work Ive learned how to

balance school work and going to work. Since October 2016 I've job shadowed with my

medical careers class at Beaumont hospital in Grosse Pointe Michigan. We go every

other Monday in the month from October to May. We get to job shadow every aspect of

the hospital workers. After every shadow, everyone in class has to do an one page write

up our experience of the job shadow. Stating our opinions on the day and what we

enjoyed the most.

My long range goal is to graduate Eastern Michigan with a 3.0 or higher and get

my bachelor degree in nursing. After college I plan to go to a nursing school, so I can

persuade my career in become a Pediatric nurse. I plan on working at any clinic that

cares for children. If pediatric nursing doesn't work out, my backup plan is to work as a
ultrasound technician. I still would work with kids as I would desire to work with pregnant

woman.
