STATES OF MATTER

Sophia Ramos

LIQUID

A liquid is a type of matter that flows. The particals inside of a liquid

that is flowy. They still move, but not really they take the shape of
their container.

SOLID

A solid is a type of matter that DOES NOT take any shape

of a container. It stays the way it is. The particials in a
solid are crouded or smushed together.

GASSES

A gas is a type of matter that useally cant be seen. The particials

in this type of matter are all over the place. Like steam and smoke
are the only gas that can be seen.

HOW THEY MOVE AND CHANGE

The states of matter can change in different ways. So, the first station is a
solid. Say, that it is a ice cube or a candle. Then they will melt and turn into a
liquid. then the heat that melted it will make it a gas.

That is the cycle of matter.
