As the head {track coach it was pleasure of working closely with Vanessa each of the last three lyears, and | am looking forward to working with her later this year. She is an excellent team player and positively leads the team by her determination and work ethic. \Currently, Miss Andrade can boast that she will be a four-year captain, school record lholder in three events, 4-time league champion, and a section finalist. Even with all of these accomplishments Vanessa has remained humble and continues to work harder Ithan many of the other athletes on her team. Vanessa was chosen as a captain each |season by teammates and coaches, as she is responsible, determined, and Itrustworthy. As a coach I know that | can rely on Vanessa to keep the other athletes lon task even when my back is turned. At this point in my coaching career | can honestly say that Vanessa represents the very best. Vanessa is a great athlete but I believe that she would tell anyone that she is an even better student. Vanessa currently maintains above a 4.2, while being involved in humerous clubs, programs, and teams. For all four years, Vanessa has been in AVID, |track, volleyball, as well as the Pacific club where she is the treasurer. She is also involved in our school's Interact and ACME clubs, and is a link leader for freshmen. |With all of those extracurricular activities and the time needed to maintain her grades | {am not sure how Vanessa has also managed to accumulate over 300 hours of community service. Not only is miss Andrade a great student, an amazing athlete, but ishe is a wonderful person. |Vanessa is a well deserving individual that will always do whatever it takes to ‘completely surpass any and all expectations. Given the many accolades and accomplishments listed above it is with great pleasure that I recommend Vanessa |Andrade.
