Inquiry Question: How is beauty portrayed by the Media?
How is physical attractiveness portrayed in Advertising? (Look out for Billboards/Outdoor Advertising,
Magazine, Newspapers, TV Ads, Online Advertising & Brochures)
What do you think is the underlying message in the ad?
What techniques have the advertisers used to get customers to buy into the message and sell the product?

Learning Objectives: The students will be able to:
Identify and describe the underlying messages and techniques used in advertising to sell products.
Evaluate how they, and others are affected and influenced by the advertising.
