Preliminary
The industrial training was carried out at a firm or an organization
whether the students choose it or it is given to them for one whole semestar.
The main purpose of the industrial training is to produce graduates who are
ready and capable to face their profession academically or non-academically
with a high professionalism appearance.

Other than that, the industrial training exposes the students about the
real situation of the working class citizen. The industrial training also helps in
developing social skills in the students.
1.2
Students are only exposed to the basic theory and needed in the
fields of their own. These theory and were mainly according to the
books. With the industrial training in place, students will experience
real life situation in the field. This will make the students use their
knowledge in order to get their works done.

PNFL are Chartered Quantity Surveyors (member of Royal Institution
PNFL have served many Clients ranging from Government, SemiGovernment and Statutory Bodies to private and public companies,
partnerships and individual Clients from the inception up to the completion of
building and civil engineering works.
PNFL has also planned, established, documented, implemented and
maintained a Quanlity Management System (QMS) based on the
International Standard, MS:ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System.

DATO' HAJI NIK FARID KAMIL started his career in Quantity Surveying
in 1970 as a lecturer at the Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) for three
years and in 1972 he became a co-founder of Perunding NFL Sdn.
Bhd., formerly known as Nik Farid Dan Loh Sdn. and Jurukur Bahan
BERAKAN where Dato' Haji Nik Farid Kamil has led the company's
overall development since inception. He has been involved in major
national and international projects including the Dayabumi & GPO HQ
(JV), Heritage Park Putra Jaya, Kompleks Dataran Maybank, Taman
Teknologi Malaysia, Bangunan Dewan Undangan Negeri Terengganu and
Kedah, KLIA Mosque, Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Cheras,

Project Experience
PNFL has experience in various types of construction works and has been a
recognized name in the Malaysia construction industry for decades. PNFL

3.1 Following is the summary of all the activity carried out during training
period weekly :
Week 1
(17th December 21st December 20012)
1. Reporting in for industrial training, Perunding NFL Sdn Bhd at 8.30
am.
2. Meet with Encik Zulkarnain, who is a senior contract manager in
Perunding NFL Sdn Bhd.
3. He explains about PNFL Sdn Bhd and explain on some of the
currents projects that are organized by the firm.
4. Introduced to all of the Perunding NFL Sdn Bhd staff.
5. We were requested to see Pn Nur Maya. She explains on the rules
that need to be obeyed in the firm including the dress code.
6. Assigned to our first task which is to update all the drawings
according to their specification.
7. Check some files and need to identify each files content.
8. We were requested to do some taking off for construction drawing
and contract drawing.
9. we were given the task to differentiate each drawing to identify
addition or rejection that happens in every drawing given to us.
