Unit Objectives:
Reading- We will continue to complete our Twisted Fairytale,
using literary elements, for a major grade. There may be a pop
quiz on research, and all the things we learned from our Social
Studies Research Project.

Writing -We will continue and complete our Twisted Fairytale

Picture Book for a major grade on 05/19. We will be taking a
grammar test on 05/19, using the everyday grammar we use
daily. Students created grammar flashcards weeks before the
Writing STAAR that they may use to study.

Math- We are continuing our mini society, Economics unit. We

will be learning about scarcity, and supply and demand. We will
begin to price our business products and prepare for our
market days.

Economics Vocabulary Quiz 05/19

Science We are learning about animals and their habitats so

we can use what we learn to create an animal that can live in a
certain environment. It must have to have specific
adaptations to help it survive in the environment of student
choice.

Social Studies We will have our Social Studies DA on

Monday. Then on Tuesday, we will review for a test on Chapter
9 on 05/19.
