May 5th: 5th Grade Capitol Field Trip We will be taking our math
MAP test on Thursday, April
May 18th: 5th Grade Track and Field Day 13th.

May 30th: Art Museum Field Trip No school Friday!

Our Week of Learning

Science: This week we will be learning about how we classify living organisms.

Math: We will be working on multiplying and dividing decimals.

Reading: We are continuing to work on identifying main ideas and supporting

details within a text. Then using those main ideas to help us write a summary.

Writing: This week we are continuing to work on our fictional narratives. We will
be creating the plot and theme of our stories.
